“That Where I Am, There You…”

Ok, this is a great song, reminds me of Hope to Carry On. This requires
a fast strum, which means that a thin pick is ideal.
You’ll have to listen to the CD to get the exact strum (really?) , but
what he mostly does on the D’s and A’s in the verse is he’ll strum down
on the major strum and then lift the fingers on his left hand up slightly
from the strings to where it sounds almost like mute. Then (On the “D”
chord) he’s also pulling off the finger from the high “e” string on the
second fret (more than likely your middle finger) off and on some. When
he goes to the “A” chord, he does the same thing on the “B” string. Thus
we have “D” mixed with “Dsus2,” or “D2” and “A” mixed with “Asus2,” or
“A2.” That’s enough quotations for now.
However, when you get to the chorus you can do a regular strum with no
sustained chords or anything
CAPO-4 (to play with CD)
VERSE-1
In my Father’s house there are many, many rooms
In my Father’s house there are many, many rooms
And I’m going up there now to prepare a place for you
That where I am, there you may also be

VERSE-2
If I go prepare a place for you
I will come back again (x2)
And you know I am the Way, the Truth, the Life, to light all men
That where I am, there you may also be

CHORUS
That where I am, there you may also be
Up where the truth, the truth will set you free
In the world you will have trouble, but I leave you my peace
That where I am, there you may also be

VERSE-3
Remember you did not choose me
No I have chosen you (x2)
The world will show you hatred, the Spirit show you truth
That where I am, there you may also be

VERSE-4
And I’ve come down from the Father
It’s time for me to go back up (x2)
One command I leave you: Love as I have loved
That where I am, there you may also be

My Deliverer by Rich Mullins Ukulele Chords

Song: My Deliverer
Album: The Jesus Demos

Verse 1:
Joseph took his wife and her child and they went to Africa
To escape the rage of a deadly king
There along the banks of the Nile Jesus listened to the song
That the captive children used to sing

They were singing

Chorus:
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)

Verse 2:
Through a dry and thirsty land water from the Kenyan heights
Pours itself out of Lake Sangra's broken heart
There in the Sahara winds Jesus heard the whole world cry
For the healing that would flow from his own scars

The world was singing

Chorus:
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
He will never break his promise, He has written it upon the sky
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)

Chorus:
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
I will never doubt his promise, though I doubt my heart I doubt my eyes
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)

Chorus:
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
He will never doubt his promise though the stars should break faith with the sky
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)

With the Wonder by Rich Mullins Ukulele Chords

Psalm 19:1-4

[ / / / / ][ / [C/G]/ / [D/G]/ ][ / / / / ][ / / / / ]
Down at Johnson’s creek the trees grow tall[C/G][D/G]
Like a man who feeds his soul on Your Word
And I can look in the water, I can see the stars fall
Hear the fires crackle and the crickets [C/D]chirp
And there are bluffs on the banks of the Cumberlan[C/G]d[D/G]
Where I can see the sunrise from a world away
And I can see the marvelous things that You have done
In this beautiful world that You have [C/D]made

And in the winter it’s white in the summer it’s green
And in the fall it’s orange and red and gold
Then it comes alive in the rites of spring
When the rivers thaw and the flowers unfold
And there are beads of dew on a spider’s web
And there are motes of dust in these beams of light
We who are bone and spittle and muscle and sweat
We live together in a world where it’s good to be alive

Chorus:
‘Cause it flutters and floats, it f[D/C]alls and it climbs
It spins and sputters and s[D/C]purts
And You filled this world with wonders ’round every turn
And it buzzes and beeps, it s[D/C]himmies and shines
It rattles and patters and [Am67sus]purrs
And You filled this world with wonders and I’m
Filled with the wonder of Your world

If there’s a better world and a brighter day
Even brighter than the one we’re in
We’d all be fools to think that it could be made
By the wills and the hands of foolish men
So Lord to You we give our deepest praise
And to You we sing our loudest songs
And while we live in the world that You have made
We hear it whisper of a world, of the world that is to come

CHORUS
:[ 4 ][ 4 ][ 4 ][ 4 ][ 4 ][ 4 ][ 4 ][ 4 ]:
repeat and fade

Somewhere by Rich Mullins Ukulele Chords

Philippians 3:7-16

Gno3 G C2/G G C2/G G C2/G
[….][ / / / / ][ / / / / ][ / / / / ][ / / / / ][ / / / / ][ / / / / ]
Somewhere between the lost and the f[C2/G]ound
We’re all hanging empty, empty and upside [C2/G]down
But I’m hanging on though the fall may tempt me
And I believe in the dawn though we tremble in the night

Somewhere amidst these ins and these outs
There’s a fine line of purpose I follow even now
Through the haze of despair that confuses and hurts us
I look to see that You’re there and I run toward Your light

Chorus:
Somewhere beyond these reasons and feelings
Somewhere beyond the passion and fatigue
I know You’re there and that Your Spirit is [C2/G]leading me
Somewhere beyond all this[(C2/G][C2/G)]

Someday, now I don’t know when
But I know that You’re coming, You’re coming back again
And the earth will burn away and the sky fill with thundering
As it announces the day has finally arrived
Somewhere, while the time is still now
While we’re still hanging empty, empty and upside down
But I’m hanging on with all that is in me
And I’ll sing my songs, and I’ll laugh until I fly

CHORUS 2x
Somewhere, baby away somew[C2/G]here, somewhere, baby away some[C2/G]where
Somewhere, baby away somew[C2/G]here I gotta go somewhere, somew[C2/G]here

Damascus Road by Rich Mullins Ukulele Chords

On the road to Damascus I was hung on the ropes of success
When You stripped away the mask of life
They had placed upon the face of death

And I wanna thank You Lord
More than all of my words can say (I give my life)
I give my life[/C#] [/B] to [/A]sing Your praise

And all those fortunes I hoarded
They were the well from which my poverty sprang
Oh they led me to no greater glory and they left me with no less shame

CHORUS

I say I wanna give You glory Lord and I do
But everything that I could ever find to [Bm7/E]offer comes from You
But if my darkness can praise Your light, You give me breath
And I’ll give my life[/C#] [/B] to [/A]sing Your praise

On the road to Damascus
I was hung on the ropes of success
When You stripped away the mask of life
They had placed upon the face of death

And I wanna thank You Lord
More than all of my words can say (I give my life)
I give my life[/C#] [/B] to [/A]sing Your praise (and beyond [G/A]this I would not beg)
[/C#]For anyt[/B]hing ex[/A]cept of grace (to give my [G/A]life to sing Your praise)
[/C#]And beyond t[/B]his I w[/A]ould not beg (for anyt[G/A]hing except of grace)
To [/C#]give my l[/B]ife to s[/A]ing Your praise (and beyond [G/A]this I would not beg)
For anything except of grace (to give my life to sing Your praise)
And beyond this I would not beg (for anything except of grace)
To [/C#]give my l[/B]ife, I g[/A]ive my life[Em7/A]
I give my life to [/C#]sing Your pr[/B]aise[/A]
