Terrible Things by April Smith and the Great Picture Show Ukulele Chords

I was introduced to April Smith’s music through my very good friend, Joie Vitale,
and he had me learn a few of her songs. I didn’t see any tabs for Terrible Things,
so I figured it out (to an extent) and I figured I would post it here.

A note: there is a chord in here that I have no idea what the name of it is,
so, I’ll refer to it as an E6. I’m certain that it is not an E6, but nonetheless,
that is the closest I can think of.

Chords used:
Em: 0-2-2-0-0-0
E6: 2-2-1-0-0-0
Am: 0-0-2-2-1-0
B: 2-2-4-4-4-2

Riff: |——————–|

Capo 5th Fret.

Verse 1:

If you dig under my feet
you will find things that you don’t want to see
things that i hide deep down inside
Riff Em E6
a menagerie of the tragedy i caused and all of my flaws
Riff Em
and my demons are all that can see
then what would you do …if you only knew

all of the things that I’ve done
terrible things…you would never believe
things that I’ve done

Oh how you’ll run
if you knew a single one
all of the things that I’ve done

Verse 2:

Would my face give me away

but i know it wont
cause i don’t even feel
i just reflect what you expect
so you don’t suspect that…
i could be exactly who i am

I know that I’m inflected
but who could have predicted
that monster that I’ve become
i keep things carefully covered
so no one will discover
that i could be the culprit
I’m sorry i cant help it

I hope it’s not horribly off, and I really hope you enjoy,
because it’s a great song. Thanks!
